PARDON OUR DUST…

We've been getting a lot of people asking why we're so far behind on "Knights of Leviathan"™, that I thought an explanation was in order.

Tangent Artists recently went through some staff changes, and one of the people we lost was in charge of the character design and rendering for the Leviathan™ Mechs. Since we've had a tough time reproducing her designs, we've decided that instead of trying to copy them, we'd have another current member of staff redesign them. Once we finish re-tooling the Leviathan™ mechs, we'll be back on schedule for "Knights of Leviathan"™ Issue 2.

Long explanation short: I'm to blame for having to retire from TangentArtists.

I saw the new Leviathan designs on the re-tooled page where they're introduced, though, and I must say I LOVE 'em. They seem to fit the 'mythos' of the comic's setting a LOT better than what I had worked up! I'm excited to see those in action someday.

Well, when the storyline was worked out farther we needed them to look kind of more "fishy." It's a long story and kind of involved, but trust me, it makes sense.
Hope they didn't come as a big shock to anyone.

We've been hearing positive feedback from younger readers about the earlier designs of the mechs. Maybe we'll get the chance to use them in another series, or maybe a one-off.
