Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
@Wife. No clue. Sounds like something Zomboy would make because he was bored at 4 am.
Or was this one of those "Why is a Raven Like a Writing Desk?" questions. : \

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
Why are people so obsessed with ravens and writing desks anyway? We really should be comparing crows to netbooks.

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
Why are netbooks like crows... hmm... they're small, black, and fly farther than writing desks (with a good throw, that is.)
But yep, the other melodious voice (emphasis on "odious") is my own. I (Dave/PaperTiger/Dagget) write on Crew, Monica/Mama-sama/Moira writes and draws (as well as inks and letters it).
There are kinda three incarnations of the Skeleton Crew: the college years (which included Avi & Dunstan, as well as a few others... more on them later)... the 90s (included Avi, Dunstan, Peek-a-boo's parents, Weston, Zomboy and Bonejack), and the current group (Shelley joined the house a few years ago, but hasn't been on too many "missions", as the group's been mostly inactive since Avi's death... TiLL NoW!)

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
@Chronos 25-ish... It's rough having set dates and ages, or you end up with Harry Potter being born in 1980 yet still being 11 in 1997. She's an adult out of College who lives with her mother and thats about all the detail necessary.
@PT Well put Dave-o.
Does Zomboy have silly little names for the 3 incarnations, like Mk. One. or Skeleton Crew 2 (Electric Boogaloo?)

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
Heh. He probably does.... although I'm sure it'd have a Superhero-comic bent.
"The New Crew... nah... Teen... naw... the New Classic Team Crew... hmm.. might work..."
The last few months, there has been a Marvel Miniseries that makes me laugh every time I see the title: "X-Men Forever 2".
Anyone else see the irony in that?

It's not quite as ironic as Final Fantasy 13.

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
@Chronos Game point to you there.
Yeah, that sounds like a Zomboy foible there, "The Orginal SC, and the Originals 2, and the New Originals."

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
I love the update, especially the group "Ooooooooh~!"
As a member of Team Weston, i'm appalled at the severe lack of Weston in this comic.

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
Yeah, not much of him... but the more he's in the coffin, the more his ACTUAL dialogue is all the more appreciated. Also, after the whole teen-drama love triangle last issue, it doesn't hurt to see Weston as something a little LESS than serious. Break up the whole pathos a little.

Re: Skeleton Crew Chat:
The plaque says:
In Pace Requiescat
Weston Peese
1959-1978
The Latin means "Rest In Peace." I've seen it done "Requiescat In Pace" as well, but the Latin's more correct this way (I think). I got it from the last sentence of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado."

He died in 1978? Is that when he became a vampire? Or was he revived?

That's when he became a Vampire. At a KISS concert in Detroit, if memory serves.

Sometimes, at various hours and days of the lunar cycle (the lunar cycle of Saturn, that is) It's very chancy. Other times it's just a hole in the stairs.

Sorry, but i must criticise your cause of death. Yes, you can die from the infection associated with some impacted wisdom teeth but it's extremely rare in this country. (We are not in a cave in Africa.) WE HAVE ANTIBIOTICS!!!!!!! Penrose drains and I. V. antibiotics smash infections to pieces. Almost everyone can get their infection under control with just oral antibiotics and the judicious removal of the offending tooth. People with any kind of brain matter don't die from infected wisdom teeth, impacted or not. Thank you for your time and always remember to brush and floss! Have a nice day precious!
