@wife My kids haven't asked yet & they both love Bonejack. It's so weird to take them to the doctor where they point out the "bonejack" posters.

Ha ha ha, I fear what would happen if any authorities were to take a peek at our garage with all the Halloween corpse decorations and the skulls littered throughout.

@Chronos Ah. Sounds like my mom's garage. Blood was most definitely spilt there on several occasions, and NOT just by careless handling of power-tools.

My dad has a freezer full of dead ducks. I had a strange child hood.

@Wife. Yeah, a friend of mine kept dead deer in his. The weirdest thing in my freezer is bread....and that thing covered in tinfoil that I can't identify.

The weirdest thing in mine is Salmon burgers. Nasty nasty salmon burgers.

@Chronos Ice made me Salmon burgers once. He forgot to cook them through, so we all got sick. I prefer cold salmon anyway (I make it with asian seasonings)

I normally love salmon, but these are 2% salmon 98% filling. D:

I'm in the middle of the country, we call our salmon chicken.

or what I did in a pinch... soak it in soy sauce (little terriyaki for sweetness) for a very short time... throw it in a pan on HIGH (to sear it), and then cook slow. Actually, I think you walked me through that.

Was amazing with sushi rice & cream cheese.

The closest thing we have to a foreign foods shop is Wal-Mart. >.>

We're in an area with a large Korean-American population so we have a chain called "Super H" which has tons of great imported and CA-made Asian food.

Of course I live further out, so I have to trek 1 hr into the city to get any.
But you can't get sushi rice? Goodness. You might try one of those pricey chains like "Whole Foods." They generally have some good imports.

...What's a "Whole Foods"?

Well darn. Sorry, mate. You can orderstuff online, I guess.
